Airey S. Achey, husband of Genevieve Stonebreaker Achey, 118 N. Fourth St., died Thursday afternoon at the residence at the age of 70. He was born in Reistville and was the son of the late John and Kate Firestine Achey. He was retired from the Bethlehem Steel Corp. and attended the First Baptist Church. He was a member of the Keystone Gun Club and of the Lebanon County Firemen's Association, the Eagles and the Perseverance Fire Co. In addition to his widow he is survived by five children: Randall Achey, Lebanon; Carol, wife of Edward Gardner, Lebanon; Patricia, wife of Dr. Barry Rothermel, Lebanon; and David and Steven, both of Lebanon. Two sisters: Edna Marks, Reading; and Josephine Brubaker, Lancaster, also survive. & is also survived by 13 grandchildren. [Lebanon Daily News]
