Minnie Louise Bratton -- Mrs. Minnie L. Bratton died at a Centralia hospital Saturday night at the age of 78. She had been a resident of Olympia for the last 13 years, coming here from Bjorkendale (sic), Saskatchewan, Canada in 1931. Mrs. Bratton was born in Rochester, Minnesota, April 14, 1866. She married Isaac Bratton at Wadena, Minnesota, in June, 1882. They later moved to Canada and Mr. Bratton died there in 1927. Three sons are veterans of World War I and 11 grandsons are serving in the armed forces in World War II. Mrs. Bratton is survived by 12 of her 14 children. She leaves seven sons, Lewis W. and Vernon, both of Olympia, Algie of Bjorkedale, Betrum (sic) of Panoka, Alberta, Canada, Jack of Brisbane, California, Lawrence of Spokane, and Clarence of Vancouver, British Columbia; one stepson, Frank, of Sandpoint, Idaho; five daughters, Mrs. Marion Eidsmoe of Olympia, Mrs. Rachel Austin of Blairmore, Alberta, Canada, Mrs. Margaret Williams of Edmonton, Mrs. Sadie Orr of Vancouver, and Mrs. Myrtle Crain of Walteria, California; three sisters, Mrs. Alice Darling of San Rafel (sic), California, Mrs. Carrie Henderson of Karlsetad, Minnesota, and Mrs. Marie McCay of Reswell (sic), New Mexico. The time of funeral services will be announced by Mills and Mills.

Minnie Louise Bratton -- Age 78, died at a Centralia Hospital July 22, 1944, at 6 p. m. Surviving are seven sons: Lewis and Vernon of Olympia, Algie, Betrum (sic) and Clarence, all in Canada, Lawrence of Spokane and Jack of Brisbane, California; five daughters: Mrs. Marion Eidsmoe, Olympia; Mrs. Myrtle Crain, Walteria, California, Mrs. Rachel Austin, Mrs. Margaret Williams and Mrs. Sadie Orr, all in Canada; three sisters: Mrs. Alice Darling, San Rafael, California, Mrs. Sarah Henderson, Karstead, Minnesota, Mrs. Marie McCay, Roswell, New Mexico, one stepson, Frank, Sand Point, Idaho. Funeral services will be held from Mills & Mills Chapel, 3 p. m., Wednesday. Interment in Masonic Cemetery.
