Mrs. Ella W. Ross, 89, Wamego, died Tuesday in Wamego City Hospital where she was admitted Nov.5.
She was born Feb.15, 1884, in Wabaunsee County, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Raine , and spent most of her life in Belvue and Wamego communities.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church at Wamego and Vermillion Extension Homemakers Unit northeast of Wamego.
She was married to James G. Ross in 1908. He died in 1948.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Anthony, Manhattan; two sons, Ellis J. Ross, Topeka and Gerald J. Ross, Kansas City, Missouri; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services were Wednesday at Stewart Funeral Home. Burial was in Wamego Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas Heart Assn. or to the Arthritis Foundation and sent in care of First National Bank, Wamego.
