Anne Rigsby Hirsch, 86, of Canyon died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009.
Prayer vigil will be at 7 p.m. today in Holley Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside rites will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Wayside Cemetery.
Anne was born Dec. 15, 1922, in Greder, Ky., to Robert R. and Lovie Cary Rigsby. She married Clarence W. Hirsch and moved to Alice in 1944. She managed a cafeteria in St. Elizabeth School during the '50s and '60s and later worked as a waitress. She opened her own restaurant, El Camino, in the '70s. She moved to Canyon in 1991.
Survivors include a son, David E. Hirsch and wife Connie of Canyon.
The family suggests memorials be to Canyon Healthcare activities, 15 Hospital Drive, Canyon, TX 79015; or Wayside Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 155, Wayside, TX 79015.
