Mary Hammond Koch of Seattle died Friday. She was 80 years old.
Mrs. Koch was born Nov. 7, 1910, in St. Joseph, Mo. Prior to moving to Seattle, she resided on Lopez and San Juan Islands.
Surviving are her husband, Edwin R. Koch; children Geraldine Percich, Liz Lampard, Eunice Normet, Lois Gallanger, Helaine Gallanger, Jerome Hammond, Bruce Hammond, Ruth Cox and Lori Ann Gilbert; and stepchildren William Hillman and Rhea Nataoli. Also surviving are a brother and sister and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Herbert Hammond.
Mr. Koch was grandmother to 27, great-grandmother to 7, and great-great grandmother to 3.
Remembrances may be made to Hale S.P.I.C.E., in which Mrs. Koch was very active and leaves many friends.
Memorial services are at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Northwest Church of Christ, 15555 15th Ave N.E. in Seattle
