Anna's husband owned the Cantor's Novelty Dress Goods. She and her husband lived at 152 North Ocean Avenue, Patchogue.
She was fatally injured on October 30, 1947, when she was hit by a bus while crossing East Main Street in Patchogue. She died at Mather Memorial Hospital in Port Jefferson. She was 51 years old. Born in Russia, she had lived in Patchogue for 30 years. She was survived by her daughter, Mrs. Deborah Glasser of Natick, Mass., and a son, Jacob D. Cantor, of Patchogue. The funeral services were held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the R.M. Sharp Funeral Home, Patchogue, Rabbi Max Stauber officiating. Interment was in the Hebrew Cemetery on Waverly Avenue, Patchogue.
