His third name is Polynesian I think he was pure Hawaiian, but born and raised in Maryland. He may have been the first of his background to graduate from the U. S. Naval Academy, in the class of 1953. Like many Marylanders, he was good at lacrosse and tough on the field. Killed in action at DaNang, Viet Nam. Recorded on Panel 12W, ROW 2 of "The Wall" on the DC Mall.
