CHURCH HILL - M. Joyce Adams, 55, passed away Saturday (December 11, 2004) at Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital and Medical Center following a brief illness.
Joyce was a life long resident of Hawkins County and was of the Baptist Faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J. C. and Delmar Alley Adams.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Niki and Mark Gent, Church Hill; one grandson, Ryan Gent; her beloved dog, Bitsy; one brother, James E. Adams, Church Hill; one sister, Barbara Hagood, Church Hill; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Johnson Funeral Home.
Services will be conducted Monday at 8:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Mike Cutshaw officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 A. M. at Elm Springs Cemetery.
