Jesse Andrews, born May 9, 1786, was the son of Titus Herman and Eunice (Everett) Andrews and grew to manhood in Saratoga Co., NY. On May 11, 1806 he married Betsy Elizabeth Benjamin and to this union were born: Fanny Andrews, Herman T. Andrews, Polly Andrews, Josiah B. Andrews, Richard Andrews, Charles Andrews, George Andrews, William Andrews, Ervin Andrews, Elsa Ann Andrews, Allen P. Andrews, Nancy Andrews and Hannah Andrews. Jesse moved his family westward and settled near Bronson, Huron Co., OH in May 1831. Cholera became prevalant in Huron Co. in 1834 and both Jesse and his beloved Betsy were stricken and died within days of each other.
