Allen P. Andrews was born in Covert, Seneca Co., New York, Oct. 13, 1827, Died Jan. 24, 1900. Aged 72 years, 3 months, 11 days.
He was first married to Melinda Griffith Dec, 25, 1852, who died Nov. 26, 1855. He married his second wife Jane Morris, who died Feb. 9, 1898.
In 1852 he obeyed the gospel and united with the church at Lisbon, Ind.
For several years the deceased was afflicted with epilepsy, which had greatly impaired his mental faculties. His suffering is past, toils ended, his body will moulder to dust, his spirit has returned to God who gave it.
