MRS. CECIL BOWEN
Mrs. Minnie Marie Bowen, 34, died at her home here Sunday afternoon after an illness of several months. She is survived by her husband, Cecil Bowen; a daughter, Minnie Wanda; two sons, Billy John and Cecil Oneal; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Harvey; two sisters, Mrs. Kate Ransom, Jonesboro, and Mrs. Rosie Skinner, Detroit, Mich., and one brother, Reuben Harvey of Swifton.
She had been a member of the Tuckerman Baptist Church for several years. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. W.J. Morris, pastor. Burial was at Pleasant Grove cemetery in charge of the Newport Funeral Home.
