Ida M. (Black) Corn, 84, of Nampa, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007 at a Meridian care center. Ida was born on Dec. 22, 1922 at Thomas, Okla., the oldest child of Glenn and Leava (Cook) Black. She married Richard G. Corn on Dec. 22, 1939 at Thomas. Ida and Richard moved to Idaho after the birth of their son Richard, son Tommie and daughter Alice were born in Idaho, where Richard and Ida lived the rest of their lives except for a few years when Richard was in the Army. Survivors include sons, Richard and Davida Corn, and Tommie and Vicki Corn all of Nampa; daughter, Alice and Pete Miles of Bend, Ore.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ida was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard, and her sister Geneva Lee. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that Memorial Contributions be made to Accent Hospice 4273 E. Spearfish Dr. Meridian, ID 83642. A visitation will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007 at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, Oct., 22, 2007 also at Chapel of the Chimes. Interment will follow the service at Dry Creek Cemetery, Boise, Idaho. Arrangements have been entrusted to Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 105 E. Carlton Ave. Meridian, ID 83642, 888-4454.
