Great-Great-Grandmother

She was named Adelaide Victoria Gibbs, but her stone is engraved with the name, Addie. She was always known as Addie.

Mrs. Addie Albrook, 70, mother of Mrs. W.J. Murray, passed away yesterday at the home of her daughter at 5547 Van Nuys Boulevard.

It is understood that no funeral services will be held here. The remains were removed to the Van Nuys Funeral Parlors where the body will be prepared for shipment Wednesday to the former home of the deceased at Eldora, Iowa.

Services will be held Sunday in Eldora. Mrs. Albrook has spent a great deal of her time in San Diego and in Van Nuys where she leaves a large circle of friends. She was a member of the P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization) and active in other organizations. She had been at the Murray residence for several months and although was not very well for some time showed no serious ailment until just a short time before her death.
