CLINTON TWP. - R. Kenneth Walley died Feb. 27, 2003, at Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township. He was 84. He was born in Reading, Pa., the son of Ralph and Stella Detterline Walley. He lived in Shillington, Pa., and later lived in Clinton Township for three years. He was an Army veteran of World War II, attaining the rank of second lieutenant. Mr. Walley was a Boy Scout leader. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Shillington. He was a member of many volunteer groups affiliated with the church, including Meals on Wheels. He also enjoyed both fresh and salt water fishing. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ruth Fraser Walley, and a daughter, Joanne Yager, both of Clinton Township, and two grandchildren. Services with military honors and burial were held Monday at Indiantown Gap National Veteran's Cemetery in Annville, Pa. Martin Funeral Home in Clinton made arrangements.
