Allie Mae Atchley died Oct. 30, 2003 at Hamilton. She had obtained the age of 106 years and 7 months. Funeral services were conducted Nov. 2 at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Murphree Cemetery at Evant with George Tolbert officiating.

She was born March 30, 1897 at Gatesville the daughter of Richard (Dick) Flippen and Janie Coffee Flippen, early settlers to this area. Mrs. Atchley was one of eleven children.

On Dec. 20, 1915, at the age of 17, in the church on Vista Mountain, she was united in marriage to Earnest Atchley who precedes her in death with his passing on September 15, 1961.

She was a devoted wife to her husband, a loving mother, grand-mother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
Survivors include five children, Ola Mae Warren, Darvin Atchley, Athleen Prazak all of Hamilton, Garvine Chumney of Fort Worth and Lavada Spruiell of Dawson; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great- grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Daman Pearce, Dyllan Jones, James Pearce, Lynn Pearce, Timmy Geeslin, Lee Gees-lin, Billy J. Warren, Steven Warren, Danny Warren and Michael Warren.
