FLORA — Laurel Otis Beck, 93, Rt. 1, Flora, died at 8:15 a.m. today in the Brethren Home, where he had resided the last two months. He had been in ill health one year. He was born Sept: 9, 1892, in Carroll County to Clem and Rose Lennon Beck. His marriage on Aug. 23, 1916, was to Sadie Hanna, who survives. He was a retired farmer and a member of Center United Methodist Church.
Also surviving are a daughter, Josephine Deleplane, Rt. 1, Flora; and a sister, Hyldred Willis, Knightstown. Three brothers, a son, and two grandchildren preceded in death.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Reinke Funeral Home, with the Rev. Armour Keller officiating. Burial will be in Center Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
