Services for Jennifer Lynn Adams, 60, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at Lawrence Free Methodist Church. Private graveside services will be Saturday, Nov. 25, in Russell Cemetery.
Mrs. Adams died Monday, Nov. 13, 2006, at Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, Ariz.
She was born Aug. 22, 1946, in Russell, the daughter of Vernon F. and Reba Milliken New. She graduated from St. Mary of the Plains College with a degree in elementary education in 1988. She received a master's degree in education technology from Mid American Nazarene University in Olathe.
Mrs. Adams was a second-grade teacher at Nottingham Elementary in Eudora for 17 years.
She married Donald W. Adams on Nov. 15, 1997, in Eureka Springs, Ark. He survives, of the home.
Other survivors include her mother, Reba New, Russell; a brother, Jim New, Russell; a son, Jarrod Krug, Broomfield, Colo.; two stepdaughters, Andrea Fourie, Las Vegas, and Valerie Darlington, Shell, Wyo.; and eight grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Jennifer L. Adams Memorial Fund for the grandchildren's education, sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence
