Born to Rodney C. and Blanche Cravens Jones in Brownfield, Texas, she died in her Ardmore residence. She was preceded in death by her parents and a half brother. She married Buck W. Allen on April 24, 2002, in Seminole, Texas.
Mrs. Allen had been an Ardmore resident since 2002, moving to the area from Seminole. Early in life, she attended beauty college and was a hairdresser, and also had worked at Wal-Mart in Hobbs, N.M., as a department manager. Xan was a legal secretary, retiring in 2002.
Survivors include her husband, Buck W. Allen, of the home; daughters, Casey Abshier, Hobbs, N.M., Dena Benfore and Angie Morgan, both of Weatherford, Texas; sons, Brandon Brigham, of the home and Brandon Allen, Celburne, Texas.
Bearers will be Buck Allen, Charles Gray, Waylon Terry, Doug Benfore, Jason Morgan and Brandon Allen.
