Caroline Ruth Bloomquist, 88, passed away on December 13, 2006.
Caroline was a life long resident of Fort Dodge, Iowa, recently residing in Friendship Haven, Tompkins Memorial Health Center.
Caroline donated her body to the University of Iowa Medical Science/Research program. Her husband, Otto E. Bloomquist preceded her. Caroline's second husband, Edward Robertson, also preceded her, passing in 2005.
Caroline was active in the Farm Bureau Women's Group and the Lundgren Church, serving both organizations as president.
She is survived by her three sons and their families: Mickey N. Bloomquist and his wife Sonja, who reside on the family farm south of Fort Dodge, Iowa; Colonel (Retired) Carroll R. Bloomquist and his wife, Barbara who reside in Colorado Springs, Colorado; and Nelson A. Bloomquist and his wife, Delores, who farm near Clark, South Dakota. Caroline has five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at the Friendship Haven Chapel/Celebration Center, The Gardens, Friendship Haven, Fort Dodge, Iowa, at 1:30 PM on February 3, 2007. A reception following the service will be in the Celebration Center.
