Corporal Michael Allan Graham was a casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army Selective Service and a Draftee, CPL Graham served our country until October 7th, 1970 in Quang Nam, South Vietnam. He was 20 years old and was married. it was reported that Michael died from small arms fire or grenade. His body was recovered. Michael was born in Shelby, NC on 12 July 1950. CPL Graham is on panel 07W, line 117 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for less than a year.
He was a companion and friend on Oct 7,1970: Alive in the minds of those you touched. Mike's Faith was unquestionable. Although I didn't know him that well, he made an impression on me. You got the sense that he came from a strong family of faith and he had a plan for his life. He left all of us that October morning and I know the world would be a better place if he had stayed. These brave soldiers, sons, husbands, fathers, daughters, wives, mothers, Whisper to me, I lived, do not forget me. I am not alone, I step aside for another, They silently scrape the lead against the parchment, Leave a flower or a photo or a note. Silently they mourn. Silently they remember.
