WILLIAM L. "Bill" SCARLETT, 69, died at his home Thursday, January 11, 2007. He was the co-owner of Betty's Glass Company and was with the Memphis Police Department, Motorcycle Division, for fourteen years. Mr. Scarlett was a member of Cornerstone Church of God. He is survived by one son, Steven Scarlett of Memphis and was preceded in death by a son, Chris Scarlett. Mr. Scarlett is also survived by one sister, Karen Scarlett of Austin, TX and two brothers, Loyle Scarlett of Las Vegas, NV and Arlo Scarlett, of Peetz, CO; and three grandchildren, William Zachary Scarlett, Alyssa ReAnn Scarlett and Skylar LeRee Scarlett. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday, January 15 at Forest Hill Funeral Home East. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 16 at the funeral home with burial to follow.
