The survivors include his wife, Peggy Harrell Bennett of Waycross; a daughter, Katelynn Marinda (Catbird) Bennett of Waycross; a step-son, Ashley (Deadeye) Cox of Waycross; a step-daughter, Jamie Cox of Waycross; two grandsons, Hunter Downing Cox and Steven Tyler Duke; his mother Betty Bennett of Waycross; his father, Downing Bennett (wife Jeanette) of Waycross; a brother, Wade Bennett (wife Tonya) of Waycross; two nephews, Cory Bennett and Jordan Bennett; and numerous other relatives.
