Donna Darlene (Bailey) Coshow of Davis, Okla., passed away July 29, 2006 at the age of 49 years.
She was born Dec. 28, 1956 at Lawton, Okla., to Don Bailey and Dorene (Taylor) Summers.
Services were held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at Midway Hill Baptist Church in Sulphur, Okla. with Pastor Willard McCartney Jr. officiating.
Interment at Green Hill Cemetery in Davis, Oklahoma, is under the direction of Krien Funeral Home of Davis.
Donna graduated from Davis High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from East Central University in Chemistry.
She was a National Scholar at the Princeton University and authored a chemistry textbook titled "Top Chem" at East Central University which continues to be used at various universities.
She began her teaching career in Minco, Oklahoma, and taught in Maysville, Pauls Valley, Ninekah and Davis school systems.
At the time of death, Donna was teaching at Elmore City-Pernell High School and working on a master's degree in secondary education.
She is survived by one son, Jedidiah Deen of Sulphur, Okla.; two daughters: Jennifer Deen of Sulphur, Okla., and Cady Coshow of Joshua, Texas; mother, Dorene Summers of Davis, Okla.; one brother, Roy Bailey of Portland, Ore.; and one grandson, Ethan Cole Deen.
She was preceded in death by one infant son, Tommy Don Deen; father, Don Bailey; and one brother, Eddie Bailey.
Pallbearers included Colt Webb, William Waller, Chantz Deen, Jacob Elliott, Kyle Whatley and Michael Summers.
