Mrs. Beck worked at International Paper Company in Moss Point, Mississippi, and had retired from employment with Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula. She was a 1950 graduate of Moss Point High School and a member of Safe Harbor United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Beck is preceded in death by: her father, Hardy Jones; her mother Willie Etta (Clark) Jones; her brother Harold Jones; her sister, Aliece (Jones) Lindsay; her brother, Wilton "Tunker" Jones, and an infant sister, Lois Jones.
She is survived in her passing by: her husband, Richard Beck of Lucedale, MS; her daughter, Allisa Beck of Long Beach, MS; her son, Gregory R. Beck and his wife, Laurie of Duluth, GA; her daughter, Elizabeth A. Beck of Ridgeland, MS; her sisters, Joyce (Jones) Lindsay and Frances (Jones) Manning, both of Moss Point, MS; and a number of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Visitation for Mrs. Beck will be Monday, February 15, 2010, from 12 noon until 2 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa, MS. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tom Potter of Safe Harbor United Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will follow at Orange Grove Cemetery in Moss Point, MS.
