Marvin H. Adam
Marvin H. Adam, 81, of Carson City, Nev. , formerly of Topton,Pa., died Nov. 16 in the Evergreen Health Care Center, Carson City.
He was the husband of Doris(Boone) Adam.

Born in Kutztown, he was a son of the late Herbert S. and Erma (Fegely) Adam. Adam was employed for 22 years by the Postal Service in Carson City, retiring in 1983. He was a 1939 graduate of
Kutztown High School. Adam was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Carson City. An Army veteran of World War II, he received the Silver Star.

Adam is also survived by two daughters, Cathy (Adam) Douglas and Suzanne Adam, both of Carson City. Other survivors include two brothers, Kermit, Topton, and Sterling, Kutztown; and a sister, Margaret Adam, Kutztown. There are also four grand- children and two great-grand children.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a. m. in Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Lone Mountain Cemetery, Carson City. Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Carson City, is in charge of arrangements.
