Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Cawthon 72 of Delhi will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, October 3, 2013 in the chapel of Cox Funeral Home in Delhi with Rev. Jeff Sykes officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM Wednesday at Cox Funeral Home.Burial will be in the Newton Community Cemetery.

Mrs. Cawthon was born on February 2, 1941 in Seminole, TX and left this earthly abode on September 30, 2013 in West Monroe, LA.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Elsie Fulford and Leena Henry Fulford; a brother Little Kenneth Fulford and a half sister Joy Forshee.

She is survived by her husband Donald Cawthon of Delhi, five children Lisa Herrington and husband Danny of Monroe, LA, Lana Mooney and husband Wayne of Delhi, LA, Ernest Herrington of Waverly, LA, Jeff Herrington and wife Kim of Warden, LA and Misty Scriber and husband Jamie of Epps, LA; tow step children Lisa Davis of Epps, LA and Phil Cawthon and wife Julie of Zachary, LA; eight grandchildren Lee Deal, Justin Brown, Desirae Judd, Ridge Herrington, Gayle Herrington, Taylor Herrington, Destiney Herrington and Jamison Scriber; eight step grandchildren Chassidy McKinney and husband Tommy, Tomi Martin and husband Allen, Mandy LaBoard and husband Tim, Lacey Corley and husband Matt, Dustin Mooney and wife Shellie, Chris Gunter, Zachary Gunter and Destney Frost; eight brothers and sisters, Lois Rider and husband Bill of Jayess, MS, Jerry Foote and wife Judy of Delhi, LA, Willis Fulford and wife Shirley of Delhi, LA, Freddie Fulford and wife Alice of Bastrop, LA, Becky West of Vicksburg, MS, Kenneth Fulford and wife Lisa of Delhi, LA, Pat Roberts of Delhi, LA and Brenda Shaw of KS;a half sister Gay Moore of Little Elm, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.
