OBITUARY: Mrs. Paul (Rita) Eckroat, of 2624 Warwick, died today at Mercy Hospital following an illness of about one month.
Wake services will be at 8 a.m. Wednesday at Smith & Kernke Funeral Home, followed by requiem mass at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Christ The King Catholic Church. Burial will be at Fairlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Eckroat was a native of Calumet who had lived in Oklahoma City since 1925.
She was a member of Resume Book Club, La Petite Soeur Book Club and belonged to Town Hall.
She was also a member of Christ The King Catholic Church, where she belonged the Altar Society, St. Madelines's Guild, and to the Catholic Women's Activities Club.
Survivors include her husband, Paul H., of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Ann Kavanaugh, 2641 Pembroke; three sisters, Mrs. Sanford Ellis and Miss Nora McGrath, both of 2219 NW 22, and Mrs. Burl Watkins, 3030 NW 15; and three grandchildren.
The family has designated the Mercy Hospital Building Fund as appropriate for memorials.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospital.
