Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery is behind the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wolf Twp., Muncy, Lycoming, PA. It is the site of the first Lutheran church in this area of PA. My 7th G-grandfather, Godfrey, fought in the Revolutionary War in the Pennsylvania Rifles and signed the charter for Imanuel Church in 1792. He was married to Magdelena Kepner and had 11 children. The first two Imanuel Lutheran churches were destroyed, but the third still stands though no longer in use except for special events such as weddings and family reunions. Church services are held twice in the spring and Fall.

I am not dead,
but sleeping here.
