Henry G 'Boyce' Lutter, son of Adolph C Lutter and Nellie Anna Louise Rugen, was born and raised in Glenview. He married Ellen Barbara Lemke 14 Jan 1938. Boyce died at the Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. He had been a Libetyville resident for over sixty years. He was a 1930 graduate of Northwestern Military Academy in Lake Geneva and a 1934 Ceramic Engineering graduate of the University of Illinois.

Boyce was a veteran of the U.S. Army-Air Corps, having served in Europe during World War II. He was a member of the Libertyville American Legion Post 329 and Libertyville VFW Post 8741. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Libertyville. He was the owner of Libertyville Auto Parts for forty-seven years.

At the time of his death, he was survived by his wife Ellen, four children; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
