LAWNDALE — Mr. James Thomas Grigg, 58, of Lawndale, died Saturday, May 14, 2005, at Carolinas Medical Center.
Born in Cleveland County on April 26, 1947, Mr. Grigg was employed as a welder. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was formerly employed by Sanders Brothers Inc. of Gaffney. He was a member of Waco Baptist Church.
Mr. Grigg was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Thompson Grigg.
He is survived by his mother, of Cherryville; a son; three daughters; a brother; three sisters; and one grandson, Christopher Brackett.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Capernaum Cemetery in Waco. Dr. Harold Fite will officiate. Visitation will be tonight from 6 until 8 at Stamey Funeral Home.
