VICTORIA - Dominga Saldivar Galindo Davis, 79, of Victoria, was received by our heavenly father on April 4, 2013. She was born in Meyersville, Texas on November 12, 1933 to the late Juan and Maria Josefina Saldivar Galindo. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows.

Dominga Galindo Davis was raised in Goliad, Texas and a lifelong resident of Victoria. She was diagnosed in 2001 with cancer and her 12 year journey was an amazing inspiration not only to her children but to her doctors and anyone who shared in her life. She was a devoted and faithful woman who taught us that our faith could move mountains. She taught us that God has a plan for each of us and to never worry about the future because it was written. Family was everything.

She is preceded in death by her two children: Gabriel and Joe Davis Jr, her parents Juan and Maria Galindo, sisters Amanda Rodriguez and Manuela Juarez, a brother John Moreno, and step mother Maria Micaela Galindo.

Dominga's greatest love were her children, 27 grandchildren, and 37 great grandchildren.

Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Victoria, Texas.
