Graveside services for Alma R. Murdock, 78, of Canyon Lake will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Glendale Cemetery at Goliad, Texas with the Rev. Chris Lopez officiating.

Mr. Murdock was born Feb. 28, 1912, in Heber City, Utah, to Edward Teancum Murdock and Millicent Sophia Murdoch. He died April 20, 1990, at his residence.

He married Jamie Helen Poole Nov. 12,1944, in Goliad, Texas.

Mr. Murdock was retired from the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco at Salt Lake City, Utah and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, He also was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife; one brother, John M. Murdock of Orem, Utah; two half-brothers, Edward T. Murdock of Springville; Utah, and Bert Murdock of Orem, Utah; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home at Canyon Lake. Memorials may be given to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at New Braunfels.
