RE: Thomas Walker's grave
Hello again. The Sarah Doyle Walker listed on Find a Grave's Upper Mill Cemetery record could be Thomas' wife but there is no marker for her. The marker that is near Thomas' is that of Sarah Carroll Doyle (1803/Ireland-about 1885) and Matthew is listed with her without dates. I don't know if this is a husband or son. But I would think she is the mother of Sarah (Doyle) Walker. Again, I don't know where this possible wife of Thomas is buried.

The Sarah A[manda King] Walker who is buried at Upper Mill is wife of James Walker. These are my husband's 2nd great grandparents as I said in an earlier message.

I don't know yet if Thomas Walker and James Walker are related. James was born in New York. Thomas' marker lists his birth in England.

RE: Thomas Walker's grave
You are welcome. We were on a history/family trace trip to south Georgia. When I saw the requests on Find a Grave, I claimed them since I was going to photograph grave sites at Upper Mill as well as other local cemeteries. My husband is descended from Walkers through his mother. I don't know about his relationship to Thomas, but my husband's 2nd great grandparents James Walker and Sarah Amanda King are buried in the same cemetery with other kin. I also don't know who placed the new marker for Thomas in the cemetery which must have been a replacement. Do you know?

We photographed as many Walkers, Kings, and Quartermans that we could find. This Upper Mill Cemetery is apparently the location of the Old Presbyterian Church which we believe was replaced by Darien Presbyterian Church which is nearby. His grand uncle and other family were members at Darien along with some Hopkins kin.

Regards,
Joy

Cummings at Gate of Heaven
This is just an FYI, you can go to www.rcancem.org and get a listing of all the Cummings in the cemetery. By clicking on the name you can get a location in cemetery. It's a big cemetery. I don't do the photos but there are a couple of volunteers who do. Maybe you can determine if any of the others are relations while you wait for a photo. This site will list other cemeteries but some are not online, holy Sepulchre and mt Olivet aren't . Hope this helps you.
