Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been tracing family roots since the mid 70's. Remembering my mother & grandmother talking about who was who, and who was related to who! I love it! The names I have been working on: Goosic, Lemonds, Rush, Gilchriest, Wilkinson,Nicholson, Newton, Forsythe, Reiter, Marble, Gloyd,Rogers, & Frank. I live in Central Iowa and enjoy going to small out of the way cemeteries.

RE: Scott
You are most welcome, Nancy! I was going through an old book that at one time belonged to the Walnut Grove Cemetery Ass't. I had borrowed it thinking it was a record book for the Walnut, Iowa Cemetery. Much to my dismay, it wasn't. Do you live in the area of the WGCA? Blessings, Barb

Just a note that I have added a "photo" to your memorial page #131373820. Don't know if it holds any interest to you or not. Blessings, Barb

RE: Wilkinson stone
You are very welcome, I actually found his wife's stone first still standing. Then I looked around and noticed a stone half buried in the ground laying flat, so we decided to try to dig it out. It turned out to be his!

RE: Richardson marker picture
You're most welcome. We were at the cemetery on Memorial Day visiting all the Waltmire graves, and documenting them. I also sent you an email about it.

RE: Lounsberry store
There was a Lounsberry grocery in Zearing, where I grew up. Was her name Winnie? I'm trying to think. So, I have a fondness for Lounsberry requests!!!

I was happy to do it for you. Anytime. I grew up in Zearing, & for the life of me I can't remember the Lounsberry's that owned that store. Maybe you can help me with that!! Please.

RE: Family connections
I have my Mom's report cards. I will have to look at them & see if I can tell where they are from. It has been awhile since I looked at them.

I was trying to find out how many people from her graduation class is still alive. Where I have searched I hit a dead end. Do you have any suggestions where I could search? I made a virtual cemetery with all the classmates. There are 10 I could not find.

RE: Family connections
Yes you are correct.

I noticed you added the memorial for Dennis Severson # 157271605, He was Thelma's grandson.

Thelma's relation are the only ones that stayed in the area.
