I am the daughter of Harold R Roe and Janet (Overhiser) Roe-Kasarda, born in South Haven, Van Buren County, Michigan in 1957. I lived in the Bangor/South Haven area until shortly after I was 21 years old and moved away, living in Wisconsin for 35 yrs, before returning to Van Buren Co, MI. I was married in 1978, at the Trinity Lutheran Church, in Paw Paw Van Buren County, Michigan to Dana A. Kester. We have two sons, T.J. born July 1978 South Haven, Van Buren County, Michigan, and Terry born May 1982 Plymouth, Sheboygan County, WI.

I began doing genealogy about 1984, and it has been a love affair ever since! New finds with genealogy gives me such a rush! I started working on my husbands family, and with my mother in laws, cousin's wife, we have made some phenomial finds. My family lines, I have found some new information, and have in my possession a family bible, from 1808, that was nearly sold for drugs!
