I've been working on my family history off and on for about 40 years. Now that I am retired I spend much more time researching. Most of the time it is slow going since there seem to be many "mysteries" in my family, especially on my maternal side! I love visiting cemeteries to take pictures of gravesites for others, especially when I hit a roadblock in my own research. It gives me a lot of satisfaction knowing that I am helping others in their searches, and find most cemeteries are serene and beautiful. I also try to take "extra" photos when I'm out and add Memorials in case someone might be searching for them. When I add a Memorial I do a brief search of local obituaries and census records to add what information is available. If anyone would like me to correct, delete or transfer ownership of a Memorial I've added, please let me know. All is done with great respect.|

Thank you for Minnie. It's been a while... I thought I updated her profile and just realized that I had not. I was able to do it today bc of the transfer. Very much appreciated!! Memorial #38871831

Dear Janet, The death date on Mr. Simpson sight is wrong. His death certificate says that he died on 26 Nov 1961 and that he died in Fort Wayne, Allen Co. Indiana. This date is also on his headstone. Would you please correct this ? Thank you, Joan L McClure Tardy

I emailed you a few days ago and you may not have been on your computer since, but in case my message went into your spam folder I wanted to let you know: I'm a grgrgranddaughter of James Haughey and Maria Mills, your grgrandparents, and I'd like to connect back channel to discuss the lineage. I'm delighted to see all the information you've posted on your line, because it's not a line with which I'd had much luck. My own Haughey research, beginning with James and Maria, is at: http://www.auntiem6.com/g0/p27.htm#i798

Hi Janet, They are not a direct line, so you can keep them.
|KLJ.||RE: Minnie Palmer|
Hi, Janet. Minnie Palmer was a step great-grandmother, not a biological one. If you would like to tramsfer her, that would be nice but since it does not fall within the guidelines, if you do not want to, that would be okay too. :)

Thank you so much. I would be one of his cousins. Sure, if you wouldn't mind that would be very nice.

|Shelly||Albert Prindle - Oakwood|
Hello. I wanted to say thank you for the photo of the grave stone of Albert Prindle located in Oakwood Cemetery which you posted on Findagrave.com.
As for your photo ... may I have permission to post it (and any other of your photos of my ancestors' and/or their graves that you may have posted or will post in the future) on my Ancestry.com file. I post a message under the photo giving credit to the person who took the photo. I have no interest in publishing any books or using the photos in any way other than for genealogical purposes. I have several things I post under the photos depending on the "owner" of the photo's desires. I have two below ... if you will allow me to post your grave photos on my Ancestry file then I'll place the statement of your choice. The second one has a _____ in it and that's where I would place your e-mail address so people can contact you directly for permission.
NOTE: This photo was obtained from a Findagrave.com photo volunteer and the volunteer has kindly given me permission to post this on my Ancestry.com file. You should take the steps to contact the owner of the photo for permission to use this photo for your personal use ... permission is NOT granted by me for any use as it is not mine to give.

Again, thank you so much for your kindness ... Find A Grave volunteers are wonderful people :-)
