Bio Photo Being a photo volunteer for Find A Grave has become my primary hobby, and has inspired a belief that every person deserves that their time, regardless how little or how long, be preserved in grave marker photo's before time and the elements takes it's toll and they are lost forever. Having the opportunity to provide others with grave marker pictures, who otherwise, may never have a chance to see them, is a gratifying experience. I strive to get the best possible photo, although deterioration, or location, of some markers makes that difficult.

Records for Rose Hill and Fairlawn cemeteries in Grady Co. has numerous spelling errors and omissions. I am working to identify as many as possible.

My Virtual Cemetery: Rose Hill - Unmarked Graves is a work in progress.

My Virtual Cemetery: Rock Island Railroaders are former employees of the R.I.R.R. that I knew and have worked with, and is a work in progress. There are many more that I am unable to locate.

My genealogical goal? To provide Ancestor and Descendant records, as accurately as possible to all who follow me, and to all who is interested in the SYKES, ROLLANS, LIPE, MARTIN, REASONER, STINNETT and JOHNSON families, from whom I descend.

Those who search for their family roots face the unfortunate fact that the further we go back, the less we have to work with. Inevitably, there comes a point where information seems nonexistent or hidden beyond our means of discovery.

Your tombstone stands among the rest
Neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished marble stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood and bone
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so
I wonder if you lived and loved
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot
And come to visit you

RPHI is the designation for "Research Place holder inquiry." This findagrave account is utilized by not only myself, but 6 other individuals as well with each bringing various skill sets to the proverbial table in hopes of leading the thanatological software charge. The group consists of individuals working in professions ranging from funeral service, sports medicine to Apple software engineering, as well as one young lady based in Denbigh, Wales (UK) that works part time for BBC. Our collective mission is to use what it is that we have learned thus far in using the iOS iteration of find-a-grave to fully realize AR/ML *augmented reality/machine learning (co-neural)* in hopes of making a much more enjoyable and memorable experience for thanatological research that weekend cemetery explorers and amateur photographers like yourself can delve into. I hope that I have answered your question(s).

RE: Ernest D. Jernigan
My adding of the photo in question was utilized only as a research "placeholder" during my time spent as a findagrave software beta tester some time back. I have no desire to "contribute" as you state. When time permits, I will place a RPHI photo recall request to those higher up the chain.

Jackie Hale
Grave Marker
From the Find A Grave, I find 2 grave markers, with the same birth and death date for Maude May Morris Hale,# 48062060 and Maudie May Massengale, # 66443735. These are located at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Grady County Oklahoma. I believe they be the same person because I believe she was a Hale and after death of her husband, married a Massengale. Can you help me understand with what appears to be 2 grave markers for the same person? Thank You!
