Hi Marcelle,
Thanks so much for looking for my ggggrandparents graves. Their graves may be lost, sad to say, or may actually be buried elsewhere. I'll keep looking for them.
BTW, being a Slaughter, would you know anything about Henry Hardwick Slaughter (68133382). He was said to be producing salt for the Confederacy during the Civil War at Drake's Salt Works on Saline Creek near Goldonna, LA. He died at the young age of 36 in 1862. There are rumors that he may have been murdered. I can find nothing to substantiate this. I was shown his grave by a friend back in my teens and remembered it when I became acquainted with Find-A-Grave and prepared a memorial for him. He is buried alone on an old homesite in what is now Kisatchie National Forest only a few miles from Drake's Salt Works.
Have a great day.

Hi! I am currently shooting the Many Cemetery. I shot photos of front and back of this headstone, and when I came to this memorial I noticed your photo was fairly small and a little fuzzy. I went ahead and uploaded my photos. If you'll take a look at the memorial, if you'd rather I took my photos down I'd be happy to.
Just let me know!

RE: Findagrave Photos
I just started recording the burials of the Thaxtons in this area and find that most do not have photos on Findagrave. Photos of these grave sites would be appreciated but there are so many that I understand the time that it would take. My grandmother was a Thaxton and most of the Thaxtons in the area are descendents of a ggreat uncle and two of her great uncles who traveled west. Thank you again. Becky

Marcelle,
Thank you so much for this stone photo. I know these larger stones are pretty hard to get. May I say, 'You have done very well with this one!', and again thank you so much...LKM

Thanks for the new photo added to the Elsie Horton Clark. Would it be possible to clip your photo on each side to add to the memorial of Elsie and Roy? It may be larger. Thanks Pat #47164320
