Bio and Links
Bio Photo My Name is Connie Riley and I live in Tropical North Queensland Australia in a little community called Airlie Beach. We are a mainland town with 74 islands off our coast (The Great Barrier Reef).

I am a very obsessed with genealogy, and spend many hours a week on my favorite hobby.

I have over the past 4-5 years taken hundreds and hundreds of gravestone photos which I am very slowly uploading to Find a Grave. Most of my photos are of my two main family lines PEPPER Family (from the line of Robert Pepper of Roxbury) and HALSEY Family from the line of Thomas Halsey of Long Island, New York. and their related links.

Until I can achieve getting them all uploaded to this site, I welcome any inquires as to whether I might have a gravestone photo you would like.

I also welcome any Photo requests you may have in the North Queensland, Australia area. Our country is big so give me your request and I will review if I can manage to get there to take the photo.

Connie Riley

Jonathan Marsh
Hi again!
Can you tell me where you got the list of children of Jonathan and Clarissa Marsh? I am most interested in their oldest daughter Clarissa born 1808. Also, I believe a daughter is missing from the list: Melissa Marsh Spaulding. A bio on her husband lists her parents as the same.
Thank you!,

RE: Genesee county Cemeteries
Well, I am still confirming all this but I believe Sewell's sister Clarissa Marsh married my great(x3) grandpa Horace Starkweather in Genesee county, New York. They had seven children. Then they moved to Hillsdale county, Michigan where Clarissa died. Horace remarried and a child from that marriage is my lineage.

Horace and Clarissa had a child name Jonathan Marsh Starkweather so I am sure that they were naming the child after Clarissa's father and grandfather and then the maiden name of Marsh.

Alta Corless Stroh
Thank you for the speedy transfer. I have the bio completed except for Alta and Samuel's childrens' names. I will ask a Corless genealogist if he knows.

I found a duplicate memorial set up for Samuel and requested a deletion. That memorial was entered in 2012; yours was entered in 2007.

26867268 Rachel Cobb
Could you please provide some proof that Rachel Cobb Halsey is the daughter of John Cobb. I have been researching my Cobb line for the past eight years--there is no Rachel on any baptismal records, as is with all the other children.
There has been a lot of erroneous info concerning
John Cobb, his children, and even his death date. I have posted a deed proving he died in 1779,not 1797, as most people think. If proof comes from D.A.R. records--those records do not require proof of siblings, nor the wife--just the patriot's direct line.

RE: Suggestion for Memorial for Donald Gary
Hi! Thanks, and no - not related. But for a few years as a child I lived in that tiny town, and I loved to walk in that cemetery. As a little kid, it seemed enchanted. How did someone from as far away as Australia stumble upon it? Best - Julie
