Hi, I am Billy .......
(Last updated 16 Dec 2012)
Due to my Dad's death, I have taken over my dad's work on the Womble Family Tree. The Family tree goes back to the 1600's when the Wombles(Wombwell) came over from England to Virginia.((( Some of the first settlers of this family name or some of its variants were: Thomas Wombwell who settled in Virginia in 1648 ))) Sometime in the early 1700's the Wombles move to Edgecombe County, NC.
Edgecombe became a County 1741
Nash become a County 1771
Wilson become a County 1855
These are the 3 main Counties for the Womble
(The early years) ....
John Womble b.1756/d.1821
OFF of John William Womble b.1837/d.1904:
There are very few "Womble" (name Womble) left in Edgecombe County from the blood line. There is a lot of, next to kin, still there farming the home stead.
The Family Tree is not just of the Womble but it goes in all direction. You can follow the links I made on Fine A Grave. My dad did not take pictures of any headstones. SO, since I am out there anyway, why not take pictures of other headstones.
The County I will be going to is Harnett, Johnston, Wilson, Nash and Edgecombe, all in NC.
These are the main Counties.
I made this line for family members who would like to trace their family ancestry.

ON TRANSFER:
I prefer you to send me information on Find A Grave Memorial. Once I know there is an interest on that person, I will add the information and add some other information that I can find and sometimes I will start a family member search.(Trace their family tree) I love doing this and I do this for free.
Please do not ask for a Transfer just to own it.
