Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am retired. In my 70's, a widow. Always loved history. I am retired from the P&C Insurance Industry after 40 years, a Virgo, so I love to investigate. My main thing is researching my roots. I was born a Rainbolt, married a Armstrong. I am mainly researching the Rainbolt, Armstrong, Pringle, Coy, Hankins,Standridge families. I am from the line of Peter Rainbolt family. I am also on under the Armstrong/Rainbolt/Coy tree.As my father was disabled from polio, I served our country in the U S Women's Army Corp., 1958-1960 until I met and married a Marine. Semper Fi. He was retired from the Corp and is now deceased.
I will be happy to transfer any memorials that you are more related to, with the Exceptions of my immediate family & ancestors.
SPECIAL NOTE: When contacting me by email, it will show my daughter's name (Suzanna), as I use her email address, this can be confusing, I know. Just wanted to clear up any confusion.

Bert Rainbolt :
Hi Sue,
M Y F A U L T !!!!!!!!
We are talking different 'Bert Rainbolt'
here ... MY Bert Find A Grave# 139029197 ....
BUT, when you get the stuff done you told me about, give me a holler so I can go and check it out .... Always interested and curious ....I've been working diligently on the Elva Rainbolt /
Kim Robbins family ... Have noticed that you maintain a vast majority of ownership in these memorials, which is a good thing .... I'll be thrilled when they get around to releasing the 1950 census .... It seems like alot of our people just missed being included in the 1940 census ....
Speaking of this family, I have included Edwin and brother, Samuel ... STRANGE, but true .. Last night, around 2 or 3 AM, I requested a transfer of Edwins memorial to my care, and received it about an hour later, then noticed there was no headstone on the memorial, so I did a headstone photo request before calling it quits at about 3:30 AM .... I wake up at 9:00 AM, and there was a headstone photo done and attached !!!! Different Find A Grave contributors ....
This all accomplished within 5 or 6 hours ... Wouldn't it be great if ALL things like this could be done that quick ... If you need anything, PLEASE let me know, as I know that you are cramming about now ...

Request :
Good morning, Sue,
I was wondering if you could do me a favor ???
I see where you attached Bert Rainbolt's death certificate to ancestry, but, for some reason, I can not clear the document to be able to read it..
Also, you had left a note in his flower section on my original memorial, but some one else came along and duped my memorial ... That's OK, as that contributor transferred his memorial to me
with a H/S photo attached today ... So, I copied your note from his flower section, and added it to Bert's BIO section ....
Have a great day,

Charles Whitaker :
Good morning, Sue,
Thank-you for the transfer of Charles Whitaker's
memorial to my care... I have gone this morning and deleted my original, and kept the one you created ... More fun like that .... If there is anything you need, just give me a holler,

THANK - YOU !!!!!
You really worked your fingers to the bone yesterday, and I for one, really appreciate your hard work .... It was gratifying to see what you and I can come up with ... I had to quit around 2 or 3 o'clock today, and run to the store for milk ... Can't live without the stuff for some reason .. Have a great rest of your week,

Got the following note from you today ....

Ray, I just edited Loc of birth from Missouri to Chinook, Chouteau, Montana.
Also, I have information on his family with Margaret Celia "Peggy" Eldred Rainbolt Kidney (1898-1983). Their 4 children. Plus his 2nd wife Mildred A Stacy Segner Rainbolt (1912-1983) #45080648. Got to #165302043, which I have sent edits to that contributor. Mildred was taken back to Claion Iowa for buria after her death in Orange, CA. She is buried with her first husband, William Frank Segner SR. I have requested grave photo's on all the Segner's in that cemetery. - If you want this additional info just let me know. I also have copies of marriage certificates (3) - Sue Armstrong
I would really appreciate you sending along any and all data you have on this particular branch of the Rainbolt Family ... That would help alot .. Apparently, they were back in the northeast part of this country quite a while back ...
Made the changes per your instructions, although the city of "Chinook' does not appear in the pull down menu created by Find A Grave ....
I always appreciate your help, as that lets me know I have a co-contributor to go to ...

Yes - according to his obituary he moved to Yamhill in 1975 and remarried in 1995. I wish I could have found a record for Jr. but buried with his mother tells the story. Have a great day!

Good morning - looks like they were divorced - May 1971 and she remarried 14 Jul 1972 to Terrance McKnight which explains why they're not buried together. Links have been done.
