I've been exploring genealogy and compiling burial records where ever I can find them since I was 15 years old and it's been a bit of an addiction ever since. The way I see it, every gravestone tells a story, weather or not we have the mentality of an old soul that is able to 'crack the code' and decipher it's mysterious background. I am very fond of exploring cemetery grounds but a large quantity of the memorials I have created are gathered from a handful of reference books compiled of the entire record listings from individual cemeteries. I tend to gather records from towns in Franklin and Androscoggin County that are close by to my home such as Jay, Livermore, Livermore Falls, Wilton, Canton and Farmington if I can. It is a rewarding experience for me to help people locate their ancestors and lost loved ones.
With love from my darling furbaby, Mittens the cat and I.

So then, you are my 6th cousin, twice removed. Not close, but still family. Thanks for the line and data you sent to me. You are so young to have such an interest in family tree, but that's wonderful! I started working on my family tree at my age 22 and have worked on it ever since. So I've been at it for 60 years! I now have nearly 98,000 people in my family-tree program on my computer. Keep in touch. Keith in Omaha

Hello Ms Cook. I love to meet my cousins! Yes, I descend from Daniel B. Cook and his wife Mary Ann "Annie" Varney. Here is my line:
Daniel and Annie begat Elijah Cook Sr.
Who begat Eli Cook Sr,
Who begat Ira Cook,
who begat Willis Edward "Ed" Cook,
who begat Alfred Newton Cook,
who begat John Edward Cook,
who begat me, John Keith Cook, and now I have three sons, nine grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. We are all proud to be Cooks!
My good wife of 61 years, Ruth, and I live in Omaha, Nebraska. I am a retired Presbyterian minister. I was born Feb 21 1935 in Madrid, Perkins Co., Nebraska.
My records show that Daniel and Annie had 10 known children of whom your Nathan is the 5th. I show that Nathan and his wife Mary "Polly" Maxfield had 11 known children. Is that faithful to your understanding?
So what is your lineage and your story? I'd love to know. If you wish for more info from me just let me know; we are family after all.
My email is firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks for making contact. J. Keith Cook in Omaha.

I have evidence it's the Adkins Hines Cemetery in Canton. F.A.G. shows it's 97% photographed (which doesn't necessarily mean all the graves), but the Drake monument was photographed with his parents, Elisha & Zibeah. I'm thinking William Henry could be listed on a different side of the monument.
Thanks if you are going to get over there and check it out - it is highly appreciated!
