RE: Elizabeth Sumpter Memorial # 135897956
I was walking the entire cemetery to update the cemetery book. I waited until I finished to make sure there was no stone for her. There are several unmarked stones but there are no dates, no names and no indications as to who is there.

What are all of the names you are looking for? I can look in the files at the Genealogy Society. We probably wont find birth records back in the 1860's but I may find deaths after the 1880's.

I am currently out of the state but I can see what information the society has and I can get you the information to contact Louisa County Genealogical Society if you would like.

I am the corresponding secretary for the Washington County Genealogical Society. We have records for all the cemeteries in the county, and most obits for the county since 1900 and some before that. Beauchamp Cemetery is one of the ones that needs the most updating and I am currently working with the Deed holder and Louisa County Gen Society to get it updated.

So far I have photographed the whole cemetery, and do not have a picture for him. I will go back to the cemetery to see if I may have missed the stone. I also have a few photos of stones that are no longer able to be read, but i would have thought his would still be able to be read. I also do not have a picture for Raymond Herron either. I am not in my home state right now but I can look into it more when I return home.

RE: Huey T Herron
Cool! Thank you for all of your contributions to Find a Grave! I am helping my cousins Sue and Larry get started on Their mother is Betty Jane Herron Rogers. Betty is the daughter of Huey Thomas Herron (1899-1967).

Do you have a Family Tree on Ancestry? If so, I'd love to connect Sue & Larry with you for additional help as they build their family tree.

Huey T Herron
Hi Derik,

Just wondering if you are related to Huey Herron? He is the father of my Aunt - Betty Jane Herron Rogers. Best, Jody McDonald

Balfanz, McCoy Larson, and Turnblad Memorials
This is probably confusing, but I am entering names from a Fairview Cemetery list as a volunteer. As you have noticed the surnames referenced names are on the same monument. Based on my information, the family members are buried together. For those not already entered, I'm inserting the following as a note so others can connect the dots to all the surnames.

Gustina (Mother), Herman (Father), William A., Balfanz, Elfrieda Balfanz McCoy, Evelyn M. McCoy, Edith Balfanz Larson, Henry J. Saunders, Evelyn W. Turnblad, and Anton F. Turnblad.

Whichever of the above that you manage, its up to you whether you want to use my note. There are no grave transcriptions other than Gustina and Herman. The others are probably daughters, etc.

There is another Balfanz family which I have already addressed, grouped (connecting) their burials in the same plot. Sorry if I've confused you. It's up to you, you can skip this comment if it sounds too crazy. lol
