I came across Find-A-Grave when I was researching my family tree. I've found it to be a great resource. There's nothing like looking at a gravestone to realize that that person really did exist! Also, people who can't physically visit a cemetery find it comforting to be able to visit the memorials on this site.

I've visited many local cemeteries and am a photo volunteer. Adding photos and memorials is a bit addicting I've found. I am happy to transfer memorials to relatives as that's where I believe they should be.

I'm particularly interested in the people who homesteaded in NW North Dakota, as well as my own family. I am researching the Zimmerman, Nygaard, Glasoe, Holte, Wollan and Roness families.
