|Gregory Turner||George Turner|
Does anyone have source documents, baptism records or even secondary sources to prove that George Turner was the child of Robert and Nazareth as indicated here:
Robert and Nazareth had one child, born after Robert's death, based on their November 1626 marriage date:
1-George Turner (1627-1690/95) m. Mary Robbins (1632-1695) in Bridgewater, Plymouth, MA, USA; 3 children

Hi Debra, the description has been copied on both pics. Here is the original details of the Cooley-Hatt Cemetery . . .
This section of land on his farm given by Preserved Cooley, was Ancaster's first burying ground. With few records now in existence, it is believed many of the earliest settlers of the area were interred there, from about 1794 through to the early 1820's, when a formal church was established in the Village.
Re-discovered in 2004 by a local historian on what is now private land and soon slated for a neighbourhood housing development, the abandoned cemetery was the centre of a modern-day land battle until January 2011. Developers have now agreed to re-structure their survey plans to preserve the cemetery intact and the City of Hamilton will restore and maintain the grounds as the final resting place of these early Pioneers.
Current investigations have indicated there may be upwards of 200 interments, and few markers, if any, remain. The earliest known burial is Daniel Cooley (UEL), likely a son of Preserved and Mary Cooley, who d.June 12, 1794.

Hello Debra, please read the note attached to the picture posted and the original description of the cemetery. The picture posted is all that is left of the Cooley-Hatt Pioneer Cemetery, there are NO gravestones. I'm very sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Hi Debra, we have communicated a couple of times before can't remember exactly which families, but know that the Keene family is ggg grandmother Satina's daughter Sarah's family. Ggg grandmother and grandfather Seth are buried in Lindsley along with a lot of other family, they are buried in the Northeast corner of the old part of the cemetery, but no headstone or marker of any kind is there any more.
Just wanted to let you know that so you can amend your request or delete it.

Debra, I am a member of the Fairfield County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society and a photo volunteer for Finda-a-Grave. I looked in the Greenfield Township Cemeteries Book by the FCCOGS and was unable to find a location for the cemetery. I googled it and found some information in which you may be interested at the following: www.gravesaddiction.com/graybill.html

Thank you Debra for your kind message. I very much appreciate it. Hope you are doing well also. It's been a busy summer with my grandkids but am enjoying it as they are growing up so fast. The past couple of weeks I've been showing my 11 year old granddaughter how to sew and make a quilt for our new grandson due in Sept and it will be her cousin. This would be our son and his wife's first child. All the best.

You are very welcome! It is a challenging, neglected cemetery in dense trees. Thankfully we were able to use a mirror to reflect some light across the stone.

I see a photo for Edward on a memorial

Record added: Dec 23, 2012
but it is a duplicate that should not have been added because there was already one for him.
The above one should be deleted according to the rules of find a grave.
Please move the photo to the best memorial for him.

He is buried in the Mausolum and that is why to person who has the other memorial can not find him.
They even have a duplicate for his wife that is a late addition.
