Mary B. Lanier Gelbke
Dear Van, Thank you so much for taking photographs of my memorials in Metairie cemetery. I never received a notice that a picture was added. In the case of Mary B. Lanier Gelbke, you validated that Mary was indeed buried here (Section 74, Lot 15) although their are no names on the tomb (except Gelbke). Is their any way you could find out who else is buried in the same plot? I prefer to be contacted via email as opposed to public message as I may miss it. Sincerely, Linda Robin

Walter J. Stauffer

Thanks for making the memorial for Walter Stauffer #90890846. I was hoping to add a passport photo I found of him but the memorial has reached the maximum five photos allowed. Would you please be able to delete one of the gravestone photos so I can add a picture? I noticed the same grave photos are on his wife's memorial as well.

Thanks You
Thanks you so much for adding the two photos for the burial place of Julius Arnold Pohl. I appreciate your quick response and great photos.

I appreciate you posting a photo of the cemetery where Julius Pohl (Memorial # 169150883) is buried. By any chance do you have a photo of where he is actually buried that shows a marker for him? If so, I would appreciated you posting it as well.
Thanks for all the work you have done to make Find A Grave more complete.

All Saints Mausoleum
Hi Van, I guess it's back to the drawing board for me then. I really thought that this was the correct mausoleum. Thank you for taking the time to research this. I greatly appreciate it.

All Saints Mausoleum
Hi Van, I was worried about that. She has been a very elusive person. Last names that we have known her by are Pagola, Boudreau(x), Reyes, and Wulff. We're pretty sure she had been interred in a mausoleum though.

All Saints Mausoleum
Thank you for the reply, to the best of our knowledge, she passed away in Oct. to Nov. 1984 in Miami. But is buried there in New Orleans.

All Saints Mausoleum
Hello. I was wondering if you might have resources to determine if a family member is in fact interred at the All Saints Mausoleum in the Lake Lawn Cemetery. I have not found any verification on Find a Grave (or elsewhere) but our family is relatively certain that my Grandmother Mary Gross is interred there.

Re: Hope Mausoleum photos
Don't know if you been contacted by Hope Mausoleum yet. They are threatening legal action for those who have posted photos to "their" cemetery. You have a lot of photos there. If you have any Bernard, Berthelot, or Loup(e) and family on your computer, would you please send me copies? Thank you.

James Tomb
Hi Van, I saw that you had provided one of the photos for the James Tomb at Metairie. I was trying to reconnect with the descendants of the original Samuel Lawrence James. He was my great, great, great uncle. Samuel's father and I have the same name. I wondered if you had been asked to take the James Tomb photo by anyone and if you could give me there contact info? Or if you had any other information you could pass along?

Thanks for any assistance, Lawrence

Thank you Van. I have deleted my old memorial for Marjorie and have added a new one for her in the correct cemetery with a request for a photo of her marker.

Marjorie Schoenberger
Hi - You referred me to a memorial for Mrs. Sidney C. Schoenberger Find A Grave# 118544430 who died in 1975 in New York. That is not Marjorie (Roehl) Kaschwski Schoenberger. Marjorie did not marry Sidney Schoenberger until 1978 and he died in 1980. Marjorie Schoenberger died 2 Nov 1997. Her obituary says she was buried at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. Gloria Barnes

Thank you for the photo! Jules was my grandfather's brother. I created a memorial for Ada as well. Would you attach the photo to hers too?

RE: Photo Requests

Nope my husband would not allow me to go into Carrollton by myself ever. We were able to go last weekend --the first time in a year. We spent 6 hours photographing. Not sure when I will get back but slowly but surely I will get it done. I have 1/3 of the cemetery complete.
