RE: Joseph B Skolasky photo
Hello -
He was my cousin 1x removed (first son of my great uncle, Toney Skolsky). I don't know why he died but am working on solving the mystery. Due to the year, I am wondering if he possibly died in WWI. I appreciate your offer to keep his grave cleaned up - so many are left to ruin.
I will let you know if I find out anything further about him. Just fyi, his middle initial is R for Robert.
Again, thank you!
Kathleen

Hi! There's actually an interesting story behind those Hookstra photos. I'm not related. I have to head into work now, but will email you what I know when I get home.

RE: Diamond
We do not think this is any relation. Our family was more from the south, Texas mainly. My dad was in World War II, but he was an only child and enlisted in Missouri.
Thank you though.

Thank you very much! How kind of you to send this note.

I have taken on doing several entire cemeteries in hopes that the information helps others.

My intentions are to honor those who have passed and let them be remembered for as long as possible.

South Dakota, huh? You're about as cold as I am!!! It was -20 yesterday. I am ready for green grass and flowers!!! ha

Did you know my mother Margaret Elliott? She and my father were both in the Marine Corps. Sorry I just have so many questions. Cindy

Edits
Hi,

Next time you need an edit done for a memorial please click on the edit tab for that memorial. That makes it a lot easier than trying to type in all from the profile page post.

Thanks :)

I did get them linked for you though

Have a great day!

You or someone needs to send what they need me to do on the edit of the memorial that is in error or is in the wrong place or what ever you mean is the problem I don't really understand what is wrong but I can;t change it unless someone sends on edit of the memorial what they want me to do.

RE: Josiah Hollopeter
Hi Yvonne, please refer to the memorial number or the 'Record added' date when deciding which memorial is the duplicate. In this case, my memorial for Josiah is the original.

Yvonne - thanks for your note! Gladys was my great- grandmother, and I was named after her. She was encouraged in her writing by her grandsons, and especially my father, who typed much of her writing repertoire for her. I do have her published book of poems, and I'm sure I can get you a copy. I also have a binder or two full of her original writing that has not been published (poems and short stories). All of it focuses on her life as the daughter of pioneers of western Nebraska. I would love to share it with you. Please email me sbtaddei@gmail.com and we can figure out a way to get some information to you!

In addition to Frances I took pictures of other similar type tombstones near the tombstone of Frances I assumed they were relatives.
I live in Columbus and somewhat familiar with David City I would bee glad to provide you any information you need. I learned they have a very good web site for local and family history. It is ButlerCountyNeGenWeb.

Norway
Hello Yvonne
Good work. I will try to get the Norway Walworth site deleted. Anyone can set up a cemetery site without approval from Find a Grave. It does not matter how this duplication happened, just part of life!!
Take care and thankyou for being so prompt.

Hello Yvonne
The data you entered for this cemetery has not been entered for Norway in Campbell County therefore you will need to transfer it to the Campbell County site and then delete it from the Walworth site.
I have no idea how this duplication happened, just one of those things!!
Keep up the good work.
Thanks for your prompt response. Take care!!

Seems we are duplicating records for this cemetery. The plot is located in Campbell County rather than Walworth County. I have been entering data for Norway in Campbell County as per the Campbell County Cemetery record.
