RE: Milo Warner
It's done. I like family to be with family no matter how faint the relationship. Have a nice day.

RE: Milo Warner
Thanks and the links are made. Would you like Mike's memorial transferred to you? I am no relation.

Milo Warner
Hi, Cindy, retracing my research the New Mexico reference was from the 1920 census. However, in checking other sources, it seems they were from Ohio. Records are not always correct. Can you confirm Ohio? Also, Milo Sr.'s birth place is given as Toledo and Lime City, which is correct? The election reference may have come from an internet search triggered by the cemetery inscription (first line of the memorial).

RE: Related
No, not related. I just decided to try and take on Calvary's nearly 300 photo requests. It helps that I noticed 3 other people who occasionally photographed there so I contacted them to tell them I had maps for nearly all sections, which I scanned and e-mailed to them. Plus, I found the old handwritten interment book online that allows me to search for the plot location as long as I know the complete date of death. I've been asking everyone to list the plot info I find so that one of us 4 can claim the request and get the photo done. I think by summer's end, that poor cemetery will be cleared of requests that dated back 3-4 years. I enjoy the photo taking because I know it helps others with their trees when they may be at a stand still until the marker is viewed. One graver had a spouse's name incorrect and no birth or death. That spouse had a joint stone so I know it helped that genealogist greatly in continuing the branch. So, some like caretaking the memorials, I like to photograph when the scavenger hunt for the grave is successful!

Ahhh, yes that would certainly cause extreme distress. I've been told many times that the stones aren't always accurate.itis crazy how many variations can be found when. comparing numerous sources. If only they could have looked ahead and seen how nuts their record keeping would make us...

Honoring our ancestors
RE: Anna Eichman
No I was just updating some memorials in that cemetery and was comparing the photos to the memorials. (Some had been added by burial info and didn't have complete dates.) No relation.

Yes, on my husbands families side. His Mother, Betty Jean Wicks just passed away in 2011, which unearthed a lot of family photo's. Are you related to George Valentine Boyer? We even found among Tom's mothers things, a cook book that was Mary Ann Eighinger's. Here's the family line...

George Valentine Boyer
Mary Ann Eighinger

Margaret Ann Boyer
Thomas Alva Stoufer

LaVada Mary Stoufer Topper
Benjamin Franklin Zielinski (Green)

Betty Jean Green Wicks/Jacobs
Kenneth Duane Wicks

RE: Johan Helfer Cramer
I am not real sure to tell you the truth, my mother got the helfer cramer documentation in a box when my grandmother died back in 2000 and when I was in arkansas my mother let me look at it. It tells in the documentation what the grave marker says because it is very hard to read a picture. As far as a picture, that would be a nice find but I have as of yet found one.

Family tree
My mother has a copy of the johan helfer cramer family tree and it also has historical background. Very interesting although it would be nice to be able to put a face to his name.

RE: Franklin Garrett
Hello Cindy, I am sorry that it has taken me so long to get back with you. You are welcome concerning the transfer for Franklin Garrett. Yes, my husband has quite a few relatives buried at the Dutch Hill Cemetery. He is related to the Freehafer, Cramer and Kunkel families. I have only been to the Dutch Hill Cemetery one time quite a long time ago, it is a long walk to get to it and it is quite secluded. If I make it there this year, I will try to get you a photo of Franklin Garrett's headstone. Thanks for your email.
