Just letting those who have requested pics of headstones within the Bordertown Cemetery that I will be visiting the Cemetery during mid January 2017.

There are a number of requests for pics, many have been requested long ago, however, there is no mention of a burial site. I will not be able to search the Cemetery for requests. Stating Old Section or similar will not help as the Cemetery is rather large and I will not have the time to go searching.

If you would like a pic then you will need to contact the Local Council and request the exact burial site then let me know.

For further information on burials in these cemeteries please contact the Tatiara District Council at or phone the Council office on (08) 8752 1044.

If you can get me the exact site location then I should be able to get the pics for you.

All the best - Larry Blomberg

I have uploaded Betty Green as per your request, I saw that her husband's memorial (James Foster Green) was next to her, let me know if you want that one

Frank Roy Haase
Was wondering if you could add the photo that's on his father's memorial # 163790583 to Franks memorial # 172468369.
I know his name is not inscribed but your clear photo shows the plot number.

Lilian Hort Huxham - Huxham
Wow - your Find A Grave memorial helped me figure out that I was wrong -- so wrong. THANK YOU. Lilian Hort Huxham married her cousin Alfred Lyne Huxham .. this family of Gautier ancestry was always big on naming children after one another ...I thought there was one Lilian Hort who married Alfred Lyne Huxham and then another Lilian Hort Huxham .. who remained single. This is NOT so. Sigh. Both Lilian's are ... indeed one in the same.

Thank you
Thank you so much for the memorial for Miss Lilian Hort Huxham. If you would like to transfer the memorial to me I will be happy to manage it. Lilian never married. She was the daughter of Hortensius Huxham and Alice Grace Parker. She was born 1871 in Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales. She would be my 3rd cousin 3 x removed so if I connect with a closer relative who wishes to manage her memorial I will certainly pass on. She is a descendant of Pierre Boudet dit Gautier and his wife Ann Manson, French Huguenots who left France and raised their four children in Bristol. The three boys landed in America. The daughter, Ann Gautier - Hort (this Lilian's middle name Hort) stayed -- though most of her descendants remained in England, Wales, Australia area -- a few also ended up in America. I am a descendant of Ann Gautier - Hort's brother -- Thomas Nicholas Gautier. At your service, -

Hi I went to the Pinnaroo Valley Memorial Park to look for Arnold James Valentine Hooper for you,

I did find Cassia Court with no problems, I assume the Nihe wall is one of the 8 walls with Plaques I could not find W13 Does this mean wall 13? if so as I said there are only 8 walls in the Cassia Court. If you have any further info I will return next weekend and try again

RE: Re: James and Mary Ann Harding at Fremantle
Just in case you haven't seen them, TROVE has a few articles about the drowning of Harbour Master Captain James Harding.

Re: James and Mary Ann Harding at Fremantle
There are 4 people named on the headstone but the mcbwa database is a bit confusing. Leave you to sort this one out!

RE: Eastwell
Thanks so much!!! I only just realized because I've only just started doing family research. I'm Perth born and bred but i live in Germany now because my husband is German so obviously its hard for me to get pics. My name before marriage was EASTWELL, so don't worry I'm legit.

Hi there. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind transferring the Stanley Eastwell and Theresa Eastwell memorials to me. They are my great grandparents. My dad is EASTWELL, his Dad Leonard was my grandfather and his parents are Stanley and Theresa. I would really be ever so grateful!

Wow that is really sad. It seems pretty disrespectful to the people buried there and their families.

Thank you for all your hard work though!
