Look down through the messages that you sent me. Your original message gave me a Find A Grave number and nothing else. I said I needed a name & cemetery to accommodate you.

Sorry I cannot update you. YOU are the one that sent me the message without name of person or cemetery.

You suggested a spelling change from Sanpair to Sampair on his record. This name is spelled many ways in many records and is currently spelled on his memorial as it appears on the records that are on the memorial.

Hello ecila,
according to Find A Grave rules "Rems-Murr-Kreis
Baden-Württemberg, Germany" is the best entry in the database. We could reference the location "Fautspach" in the bio.
Today "Fautspach" is a hamlet located in the municipality of Althuette.
It would be pleasant to update the memorial data #53428980.
Thank you very much!

RE: Elmer Whiteis
Hi Alice, To sponsor is it cost $5.00 for each one you want and then if I am not mistaken, you can add up to 20 pictures if you want and also it removes all those ads. Just check it out. I feel like I've been so fortunate to inherit so many pictures from the family that I like to put faces with the names and articles that I have found on and on I have found things that I didn't even know about the different family members, some good and some that are getting into the nitty gritty stuff! Interesting to say the least! Good luck and if you are looking for something on the Whiteis' clan, and I'll send it to you if I have it. My email:

RE: Jeremiah Whiteis
Hi Alice - Les is connected as follows:
Jeremiah>Isaiah>Mary Lavina>Arlie Isaiah>Leslie

Your Find-A-Grave records have been very helpful in filling in his gaps. I have a record set up on Ancestry for him called "Ferry etc" to help me keep things organized. It is not a complete record, only deep enough to validate info for the purpose of his book. Thank you!.......aj

Jeremiah Whiteis
Hi - I am writing a family history for a gentleman who is the GG grandson of Jeremiah(1801-1869). I am making use of some of your Find-A-Grave info and would like to give you credit on his acknowledgment page if you are willing to share that and also your connection to the Whiteis clan.
I will be traveling to North Dakota this week to meet with him to have him view the first draft and I am sure he will be curious about your relationship to this Whiteis family. He has no internet so he is not aware of the F-A-G site or the many benefits. Thank you in advance...Ann

Your obit states he passed in: Hunter's Hot Springs, Montana. I see there are also Bracklins in Sawyer CO, WI.

RE: Elmer Whiteis
Hi Alice, It cost $5.00 to sponsor each one and then there will not be any advertising and I believe you can post up to 20 pictures, which is nice but I haven't gotten that many on there yet of each one I have sponsored. It will explain what's what if you are interested. My big problem is that I don't have the time to work on it at a long enough time, without being interrupted, then I quit, and most of the time, I don't get back to it for awhile.

RE: Cemetery Numbers
Hi, Alice. Sorry for the confusion, but I found the email from you that was a few years old, and I was afraid I hadn't answered you. I hope you've found lots of family members. :-)

RE: Cemetery Numbers
I am so sorry I didn't give you the answer you needed. I believe that you can find the cemetery number by searching for the name of the cemetery or the person you know to be in the particular cemetery. I'm not sure that the cemetery number is as important as finding the person number. Once again, I'm not sure that this helps you, but I hope it does.

I went to Trinity Cemetery today and probed the area for James Wards grave site. I checked the head foot center etc, but could find no buried marker. I am certain there is no marker on the grave. I did post a picture of his location on his memorial though.

RE: OOps
You in fact have James in the correct cemetery.
I am unsure why he had not been listed previously, but I know I did miss a few when I worked on this project.
James Ward was moved to Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery on April 15 1938, and is presently buried in grave 1255, Section A, Lot 3, Row D, grave 7.
I have no picture for his marker, so I am fairly certain there is none visible. When I am out that way again, I will make a probe in that area to see for sure if there is one that has been buried over the years.

RE: Trintiy Cemetery in Parkland, WA
Hello Alice...
Here is the direct link to Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.....

About a year ago I walked the cemetery and photographed all the markers and worked with the person from the church so that I got all the unmarked graves listed also.. If you don't find your relative there, would you let me know so I can include him on the records I have here and at the church.

If I can be of any other help let me know...

Out of curiosity, who is your relative?
